As a British citizen, I can’t help but notice the patriotism that seems to have built up over the past few weeks over the wedding of Prince William and Katherine Middleton. The local high street, fairly plain a few weeks ago, is now adorned in bunting and Union flags, and every supermarket you enter seems to be filled with a minimum of six people who have never met hysterically babbling about the upcoming event.

In spite of the content being churned out by the Tabloids that could bluntly be described as sickening, I felt it was important to post T-Mobile’s fabulous Royal Wedding ad campaign on this blog instead of a techie rant, as it’s a brilliant (if completely respectful and appropriate) play on the nation’s rediscovered love for the monarchy:

If you fancy celebrating the wedding with a new VPS (yeah, right!) and plan on getting a 50% discount for three months, then use promo code IVROYAL during the order process by the end of 07.05.2011 and the discount will automatically apply to your fee.

Technical support, sales & billing will be provided as normal throughout the Friday, despite being a British public holiday. If you have any questions, or if you need any help, then do get in touch.

Now, go out and enjoy Friday’s festivities!
